Today we woke up to a white blanket of snow. It is FINALLY starting to feel like Christmas. It has been a fabulous Fall and I have zero compalaints. But, I haven't been able to get into the Christmas spirit so far. The snow helped. There was just enough snow to cover the ground and not make the roads too slick. I couldn't have asked for better.
The kids were ECSTATIC. They kept asking me if they could go outside and play. I told them they had to clean their rooms first. What an awesome motivator. They cleaned pretty well. When we finally made it outside they had a blast. At first they were only eating the snow (of course). Then they ran around and would follow the footsteps they just made. They stayed outside for like a half hour. Hailey came in asking for hot chocolate. Their cheeks and noses were bright red, I couldn't say no seeing that. It was fun to watch them play so well together and have so much fun together.

Yeah for snow!! It's not Christmas with out snow. I'm glad there was a the perfect amount. Nothings better than hot chocolate to follow up a day in the snow. Your kids look so cute. I'll have to touch base when I get into town.
We're supposed to get some snow tomorrow and I am excited! I love when it snows, but only if it snows a lot (has to be worth it). Looks like the kids had fun playing in and eating it!
Yeah! Looks like fun. It makes me homesick for the real signs of Christmas. It looks like you guys had a fun day.
BTW: thanks for the tip on the car map rug. I am going to get one for Eleanore.
Oh we just got dumped on this week. We got like 8" just today! I was worried we wouldn't have any snow, and it just isn't Christmas without snow! And your bread looks amazing, i will have to try your recipe!
