NYC

Most of you know Bo and I and Bo's business partner Kris and his wife Kendra took a business trip to NYC April 25 through May 1. I was so excited to go. I've always wanted to visit NY and it met all of my expectations. Jack came along with us. My mother-in-law watched the Hailey and Conrad. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I'm just going to go through our trip in order of places we visited. Sorry it's so long, but we had lots of pictures.

We arrived Saturday night. We visited Time Square. There were lights everywhere. Jack loved it. Did you know that they keep the ball from new years eve up all year? I thought that was cool. The ball is smaller than it looks on TV though. (I didn't have a picture of Bo and I.)

Sunday we went to church. The church is on the second level above the temple. It was just like any other ward, except everyone sang very loud. It was great. This was the only picture I got of the temple.

Next we walked over to Central Park. It is bigger than I could have ever imagined. It was crazy to see people sitting in their swim suits and bikini's when there was no place to swim.

Kendra took all of these pictures. They are great. Central Park was very beautiful. Thanks Kendra!

Monday was very busy. We went to the Empire State Building. It was pretty cool, but a little crowded. We also went to the Statue of Liberty. We waited in line for a very long time and it was a little disappointing when we got up. It was just as cool to see from the ground.

After that we went to my favorite part. We walked to Wall Street and saw many places: Trinity church, Tiffany's, and the New York Stock exchange. I loved walking around everyone was in a hurry and there were men everywhere in suits. It just looked cool.

After that we went to Ground Zero. There wasn't a whole lot to see there. They are still working on the building to take it's place.

Then we went to China Town and Little Italy and ate at the first Pizzeria in the U.S., Lombardi's MMMmmm!

Tuesday through Thursday Bo and Kris went to there seminar during the day.

Wednesday, we went back to Time Square to get tickets to go to Broadway. We went to Rockefeller Center and NBC studios too. That night we went to Mary Poppins. It was amazing! Way better than I imagined.

Thursday we went to a Yankees game at the new stadium. The most amazing thing happened. Bo and Kris went to buy our tickets, and while they were waiting in line 2 people gave them a total of 6 tickets!!! $60 Tickets!!! We were in the second tier and it was fun. It was freezing cold. I even got offered $100 to let this lady hold Jack. But, he was sleeping and I wasn't risking that. The Jumbotron was amazing! HD and HUGE. I've never seen such a clear picture.

Friday we spent hours in the airport because our plan was delayed. It took us 12 hours to get home. VERY long day.

I was very grateful to be able to see NYC and I have to say New Yorkers have a bad rep for being rude, but everyone there was very helpful (except the taxi drivers).

Glad you all had a great time! Sonny and I loved it when we went a couple years back. Ya, it's a fun place to visit but not to live, huh? My favorite sight was Central Park... absolutely loved it. So strikingly beautiful and peaceful yet stuck right in the middle of such a busy city!
