Today I #GiveThanks for Him, my Savior Jesus Christ, and the Atonement he performed for each of us.
Ether 12:27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble, and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.
Thanksgiving was different his year. We were supposed to be with my family, but we didn’t want to get my parents sick, so everyone in Utah stayed home. We still ate with them and Earle. But, we are home most of the time, so they felt safe coming over. I spaced getting any pictures of us eating around the table. I got a before shot, at least.
This other pic is my favorite. It was a little busy because we decided to watch a pilgrim movie called Monumental and get a quick family shot taken for Christmas cards. So, I assigned the kids some work in the kitchen and went to get my hair done. I had a quick thought that all of the kids are working together in the kitchen.
I turned around to watch for a short time. It was one of those moments where you realize all those things you’ve been trying to teach them is sinking in. Well, in the kitchen area anyway. :) Had I not taken the time to turn around, I would have missed it. I was grateful I did. I love watching these kids grow.
