This post always takes a long time. I have to go through pictures and scan in the team pictures, so I put it off every summer and get behind on every other thing we do because I need to get this one done. This year is no different. Baseball for the three younger boys ended in June and it's now October 10. But here goes nothing as I try to remember all that went on this season.
Bo and I and some others were in charge of the city baseball this year. It took a great deal of time and I think it's a one and done with us. We don't do well with the whole politics of sports so we won't be doing that again. I'm a little sad about it because it was a fun season. But, that's ok, we can have fun next year without all the added volunteer work.
I didn't take too many pictures, but we were at baseball from Monday-Saturday with one night off during the week. It was a lot and we loved it! But, being in charge just put everything over the edge and made things just too crazy. Conrad played into July so we made a trip to Washington as a family. There wasn't much to do there but we had a great time at a swim park. It was also just so nice to get away and relax. We really enjoyed the trip. Here are some of the highlights, I always wish I'd taken more pictures!
Caleb played on Rookie and Minors
Brayden Played on Minors and Majors too. Their Minors team to a very close second place.
Jackson played on Majors and Babe Ruth in Idaho Falls
Brayden and Jackson's team took first in Majors |
This was Jackson's homerun! |
Conrad played on the the C team at the High School, Babe Ruth team with Jack, and another travel teams with older kids (our neighbor needed another player so Conrad joined the team).
Everything we did made our baseball season run from February to mid July! Looking back, no wonder I was so burned out. HaHa.
