Today, Hailey decided to sneak scissors downstairs and chop off her hair. She felt really bad once she got caught.

The beautician did a great job on her hair. They just had to shave the back where it was so short to a "number 2" and they will just blend it as it grows. So in a few months it should look like a pixie cut. Right now, we just like to see it from the front. (I loved the front so much that I forgot to get a finished back view. Believe me you aren't missing anything.)
She LOVES it. But, she is sad she can't wear bows anymore.

Oh my gosh!!! I think I would cry too. She totally hacked it off! I am so glad that you were able to take her somewhere that could make it look cute.
It's amazing what beauticians can do! I would have cried too.
Her first picture looks like a mug shot!! She looks so cute and so different with her new hair! I don't think she looks much like me anymore!

Troy cut his hair when Robert and I came out to Pa. looking for a house. For a boy though it's not so bad but it just took me back all those years.
Good thing hair grows back!
I can't believe the beautician did such a good job. They do work miracles. Fortunately, it is just hair and I think every child has done the same thing to their hair. Some just do an extra good job. I can only imagine how you felt when you found all her beautiful hair on the ground. Her hair cut is really cute. Got to Love being a Mom!
Hey Celeste! That is SO sad. Way hard on moms! But I personally LOVE short hair on little girls (esp. Hailey) I think it's so cute! Syd always has short hair now. Hey, Emily is in town and being the great sister that she is- she pretty much planned a totally rockin' b-day party for Sydney (seriously- she is so good at that stuff!). SO- she said she was thinking of meeting up with you on Wed. anyway- and that's when the party is... wanna bring Hayley over? We haven't seen her in awhile and Syd just loves her. Since were late on notice- thought I'd give you a heads up- -but we'll bring an invite over tomorrow. Hope we can see you soon! Love that short hair! (but please don't let her pass on her ideas... man, she sure did hack it!)

that would be great. i think hailey loves birthday parties more than anything. I'll see you today then. :) We'll be home all day.
That is soooo soooo sad but so darn funny at the same time! Yikes. The end result did turn out pretty good from the front.
