Yep, our sweet little man turned one on Sunday. We just can't get enough of this guy! His smile melts my heart. Everyone just loves this guys to death. Five kids has been a challenge and this year has been crazy with life, but I can't imagine life without our little Caleb.
At one Caleb loves:
Mom and Dad
His siblings
sippy cups
walking
putting EVERYTHING in his mouth
giving smiles
patting Mom on the back
Exploring everything
We basically love everything he loves except that he puts everything in his mouth.
Here are some pics from his birthday. He loved his cake! I wrapped his presents in tissue paper in hopes that he would not be more interested in that. He did a pretty good job opening up his presents.

Third Grade Science Fair
Hailey had a Science Fair Last Friday. She got a rock tumbler from Santa and decided to see how different rocks polished in it and compared them in her experiment. This was a long process and we really could have used a couple of more weeks to get it done because it takes so long. But that's ok. The rocks were mostly smooth. Hailey (and everyone including adults) had fun watching the rocks changes through the process.
The day they took their project to school parents and all of the younger elementary students came through the classrooms and they got to explain their projects. Hailey had so much fun. She said it was the best school day ever. I wish I had her excitement for speaking in front of others. :)
Great job Hailey you worked VERY hard on this experiment!
