AAAHHHHH Rest

I'm not sure what happened this week, but the night after my last post and every night since have been great! (I need to vent more often...LOL)

Hailey only had one bad dream, Conrad only got up once to go pee all week (truly a miracle), and Jack, well he still got up but I can take care of him in my sleep.

Thanks for all of the comments, I love comments. They really made me feel better :)

Will I ever get a good nights sleep again?!

Okay, I'll start by saying that I know I'm not the only one who doesn't get a good night sleep, and I have had it good the past 4 years. But, I'm still going to vent out a little frustrations this morning.

Since Hailey turned 4, she has nightmares about 5 times a week. Conrad has been potty trained since November and gets up about 5 times a week to go potty and he needs help with his pj's. Jack has been teething off and on since November and wakes up a lot for that. Just last week though, he started sleeping great through the night!

To top all of that off I have a sinus infection and have been sleeping bad because I haven't been able to breath through the night for over 2 weeks! The Dr told me to us Afrin spray to help me sleep for a couple of days. That stuff is the best stuff ever!

As I went to bed (actually excited to sleep) I knew this was the night I had been waiting months for. Boy was I wrong!

Last night was the worst night EVER!

I'm not sure when it happened, but Hailey came running in screaming with her usual bad dream and I told her to get her blanket and pillow by our bed and sleep on the floor next to us. Then at 2:00 she was moaning a groaning about a stomach ache. (We all know how much Hailey loves to poop) I told her she needed to go sit on the toilet and go. She did. That didn't help, but sometimes she will still have a stomach ache. So, I told her to go back to her bed and sleep. (I know, it wasn't very nice, but I just wanted to sleep!)

Before I even got back to sleep Conrad comes in crying saying he doesn't want to sleep with Jack. I think to myself, "What the heck is he talking about"? But, I just wanted to sleep so I put him on the floor where Hailey was.

Then BEFORE I get to go back to sleep, Hailey starts screaming again. So I ran to her room. She was throwing up all over. WHAT THE HECK! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! So, we go to the bathroom to clean up and change her clothes. I was not going to change her bed so, she came back in my room and slept on the floor.

STILL before I got back to sleep, Conrad said he needed lotion on his legs. (He gets break outs from Eczema occasionally.) I told him to go get lotion and I went to put some on. HE IS ALL WET! YES HE WET THE BED!!! And he didn't tell me. What the HECK?! So I got him cleaned up, lotioned up, and changed.

Finally, it's about 5:00 and I get to go back to sleep. (While pondering about the post I am going to write this morning.)

About 40 minutes later, Jack starts crying. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Can't I just get some sleep?! I go in to check on him and I can smell poop from the doorway. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! So I changed his clothes and fed him. I got back to bed at about 6.

At 7:00 the alarm for Bo went off. I went to wake him up because he had moved to the couch at about 2:30. (At least the kids slept though the buzzing).

Everyone was up at 7:30.

To sum it up I changed and sponge bathed 3 kids in the middle of the night (oh and helped Hailey go poop) and have tons of laundry to do today.

I am just grateful I went to the Dr. yesterday because I feel SOOOO much better today!

But I still have the question, will I ever get a good night sleep again?

The answer, who knows! I just think as my kids grow they will become less dependant on me, but will I be up worrying about them?!

The joy of Motherhood. (I really do love it, but man it is hard sometimes!

Jackson is 9 Months Today

Today Jack turned 9 months. He had his well baby check up and here are the stats:

Weight: 18 lbs 11 oz (60th percentile)
Height: 28 1/2 inches (45th percentile)
Head: 17 3/4 (25th percentile, I think)

These last few months have been so fun. I love to see Jackson's personality coming out. On March 2 Jack got his first hair cut. He did pretty well.

He learned how to army crawl and just started crawling dragging one leg a few days ago ( it looks pretty funny).

On March 9 he started cruising. Now he never stops. He pulls up on everything trying to see what is going on. I also had to put a picture up of his chunky legs. So cute!

Jackson also has 6 teeth now. It's too hard to get a picture. I'm sure they'll be sticking out soon though.

Great job Jack. We love you!

Better Late than Never: Valentine's Post

This Valentine's was fun, but different than usual. We started it off with our date the night before. We went to Texas Roadhouse while my parents watched the kids (thank you, thank you, thank you). It was great as usual!

Saturday morning we woke up at my parents and drove home for brunch. I thought the kids would enjoy heart shaped pancakes and eggs. They did. They want me to make them all the time now. I haven't mentioned that everybody but me was sick. Bummer! So, that was the extent of Valentine's Day with the kids. After the kids were in bed Bo went and got me a milkshake even though he wasn't feeling well. Thanks Honey! (We found out Monday, Jack was pretty sick. He has Croup. No fun. His voice is so hoarse, it's so sad. He is still a happy baby though.)

I was reading my sis-in-laws blog and she wrote about what her family loves and why she loves each of them. So, thanks for the idea Amie, I'm going to steal it :)

I'll start with Bo.

Bo loves:
*Fishing
*Camping
*Motorbiking
*Halo (he's actually playing right now)
*Playing with the kids (especially fishing)
*TV
*Sleeping in
*Eating out (especially Thai food)

I love the way Bo has such a calming presence. Most of you know that I am more of a type A personality. But with Bo around all of that goes away. I feel peace when he is around. He is so kind and patient and never gets upset. He makes sure we all enjoy life too. He makes me a better person. Thanks Hon, I love you!

Hailey loves:
*TV (she would watch all day if she could)
*Coloring and crafts
*Princesses
*Playing in the snow and then getting Hot Chocolate
*Duck, Duck, Goose and Hide n seek
*Learning
*Reading the scriptures and praying
*Bearing her testimony

I love how Hailey is so full of life. She hasn't taken naps since she was 20 months old. She never wants to miss out on anything. I love how she says we are best friends and loves being around me. She loves us all unconditionally. She is always so positive and she is so excited to see us in the morning. I love her humor.

Conrad loves:
*Our cat
*CANDY
*Riding his bike
*Throwing balls
*Reading stories
*Playing outside
*Running and jumping
*Climbing
*Motorbikes

I love how much Conrad cares for others. He wants everyone in our family to be happy. I love how he cuddles up to read a book. He makes sure I kiss him and hug him goodnight. How he tries to tease people and laughs so hard at himself. He is fun to be around.

Jackson loves:
*Pretty much anything that he can touch
*He loves moving around
*Eating (favorite is probably carrots and bananas)
*Being tickled
*Crinkly toys
*His feet

I Love how happy Jackson is. His smile makes my heart melt. I love how he loves his family. I love how curious he is and all the funny sounds he makes. I love that he lets me sleep nowadays.

I am so grateful our Heavenly Father gave us families. I love my family so much and they are my life. Happy Valentine's Day.
