Bowling Night

About a month ago we had family in town for Sam's baby shower (Barry's wife).  The night before we went bowling with those that were in town already.  It was really fun and the kids keep talking about it, so I thought I'd better post about it so they can look at pictures from it and remember how much fun they had.  I took a bunch of pictures and the ones that turned out I uploaded to my picasa page if anyone wants to download them, sorry I didn't get a clear pic of everyone actually bowling http://picasaweb.google.com/celesteporter7/20100129#.

I thought I'd post a group pic and one of each of the cousins that were there.
Here's everyone that was there.

Hailey's 5 year old pictures

Okay, so I'm a little behind.  Her birthday was in October.  How much does a 5 year old change in 3 months, right?  I took her to JC Penney.  I am really pleased with the pictures.  Plus, the total cost was $12 and some change.  Can't get much better than that with 3 poses :)

On another note:  I am very behind on other posts.  For my family, I will be posting from our bowling night.  I just need to go through the pics and upload them.  I think that will be a job for this weekend while the guys are motorbiking :)

New Company Website Launched

I finally got around to making a company website. I got tired of handing out business cards with the web address of my corporate website that didn't actual exist. The web address is www.foxwebstores.com.  Please tell me what you think about it and if you find any typos.  thanks

Just in Case You Haven't Heard; it's RSV Season

Yes we have been hit!  And hit pretty hard.  It all started with Conrad who had a fever New Year's Day.  The next day the coughing started.  Not just him.  EVERYBODY but Bo.  All of the kids had a fever on Sunday and by Tuesday Jack was the only one with a lingering fever.  And he started wheezing too.  I thought I'd give him one more day and then if he wasn't better I'd go to the Dr. on Wednesday.

Well that morning he was grumpy and wheezing a little more, so off to the doctor we went.  They checked him out and told me it sounded like RSV but most kids (95% exactly) don't need any treatment.  Then she checked his oxygen level to see how his levels were and he was only at 90%.  They did an asthma treatment and checked him again (this helps some kids).  After that Jack was down to 83%-85% and wouldn't go up.  We were there about another hour waiting and checking to see if his level would go up.  They did go up to 88% but they have to be at least 90% to not get admitted to the hospital.  Just Jackson's luck, never reached ninety so off we went to EIRMC (third hospital stay since 5 days old).

He spent almost 2 days there with oxygen on and off.  The second night he didn't need any oxygen while he slept so we got to go home.  He hated it and it was a lot harder to keep him happy when he started feeling better.  He didn't want to be touched at all and doesn't like strangers (especially strangers in masks and weird clothes). He just wanted to run around, which he couldn't do because he was in isolation and the oxygen reader would go crazy. But, he made it through and is doing quite a bit better.
Jack feeling better:
But, not all better:

Of course Bo was planning on going out of town Wednesday night (which he only does maybe twice a year).  He decided to leave the next morning so we could see how Jack was really doing.  We knew he was going to be okay, so he left.  My parents watched the kids for us.  Thank you, thank you, thank you! Especially because the kids were sick and Hailey got really sick one day while we were at the hospital.  Thanks for all of your patience and restless nights.  We love you guys!

We love you so much Jack and are sorry you had to go through this.  We are so happy you weren't too sick and are feeling better.

New Break Room at Work - Movie Theater

After a ton of extra hours at work the new break room is finally done.  Special thanks to Celeste and Kendra for putting up with me and Kris working 6 days a weeks and Jake and Peter for donating more than one of their free Saturdays to build the theater.  Kris and I realized that we have no building skills whatsoever and it would have looked like crap if it weren't for Jake and Peter.

Me and Jack

Theater Seats for 34 people - We got them for 6 bucks a piece from an Ogden movie theater that was being remodeled.  It only took 7 straight hours of steam pressure washing to get them clean.  They were nasty.

Halo Den - we play a lot of video games for our breaks at work.

Movie Screen

Work Out Area

We made the workout area so you can watch a movie while you are running.

Underneath the stadium seating we put a kids play room complete with a slide down to it. They love it.

The kids room

The game room. We want to get a pool table and a ping pong table for it but we haven't gotten around to buying them yet.
