Conrad and T ball

This years was Conrad's first season of T ball.  They had games through the month of June every Monday and Wednesday.  I love watching T ball.  It was so cute and VERY entertaining.  The kids were so cute.  Conrad got a size 10 shirt (he's in a 4/5) and it went down to his mid calf.  I wish I had a picture of it, but I can't get it off of Bo's cell phone.  Thanks to my mom for taking it apart and resizing it so he could actually run and look descent.

He wouldn't ever take those gloves off no matter how hot his hands were.  Even while he was wearing his mitt.  Those are his pride and joy.  Even though they are motorbike gloves. :)

A few highlights from Conrad were:

one of his first at bats he ran straight for second base
he really enjoyed watching the other games going on while he was in outfield
he started going after the ball his second to last game
he was pretty good at hitting the ball, he hit it on the first swing most of the time (although one time he swung so hard and missed he spun around and fell down.)
my favorites was one game he just kept doing somersaults while he was in outfield

Some Summer Activities

It seems like it took forever this year for the sun to come out.  So since the sun has started shining we are out all the time.  Here's some of the fun things we've done so far.  I haven't been very good at taking pictures either, so there aren't a whole lot.

We've been to the park a lot.  Here's one that I actually took to camera

We went to the splash park in Rexburg today.  My mom has Bryce's kids so they were there.  Alisa and Lucy were also there.  Barry and Sam also brought Warren to join in the fun.  The older kids had a blast.  The younger kids liked the water but didn't really play in it too much.  Conrad wasn't in any pictures because he was being a stinker about me taking one.  He kept telling me that he wanted them to turn the water off so he could go down the slides.  Hailey loved the slides.  This is the first time she went down them.  It was fun to see her having so much fun.  Jackson took FOREVER to even touch the water.  But, once he did he had fun in his little puddle.  It was a fun day.  (Amie and Alisa if you want the pics I uploaded them to my picasa page online.  Sorry Barry I didn't take pictures after you got there.)

We also went to the zoo a few weeks ago with Brooke but, I didn't take my camera.  The kids LOVED it.  Especially the boys.  Conrad talked about it for days. A funny little story about Jack.  Anyone who doesn't know, Jack loves food.  He is always asking for bites from everyone.  While we were going through the zoo, the monkeys were eating apples and he was talking to the monkey through the window saying, "Bite, bite?"  It was funny.
We also had fun on the 4th.  I hope to post from that soon.

Happy Number 2 Jack!

Jackson's birthday was June 18th. We had a fun day. I love birthdays. The kids get so excited and are so happy to pick out a special present for each other.
We had a couple of parties but really one with presents, so that's the one I took pics of. He loved opening his presents. And yes that is Christmas paper in the picture.
We started out the party with pizza. Jack LOVES pizza.

CHEESE!

Then we moved on to his presents.
And ended with cake and ice cream. Last year he burned himself touching the candle. This year he just cried when Bo lit the candles. Maybe next year he'll blow them out. We'll see. :)

Now a little about Jackson at 2.

He counts to three
He sings to "G" in the alphabet
He gets up and wanders the house at night so we have to put up a gate to block him in
My favorite thing he says is, (after doing something crazy) "Di u see dat?" (Did you see that?)
He is all boy and started trying to jump at 15 months. And at 18 months was jumping off the bottom step of things. He is always jumping!
He had another stay at the hospital this year with RSV. I hope it was his last.

Jack loves:
To eat (One night I caught him climbing on the kitchen counters in the pitch dark to get crackers out of the cupboard. I didn't really sleep well after that until we got the gate.)
Anything with wheels
Being outside
Riding the motorbike. He is always saying, "Ride, Daddy?"
Throwing stuff (not my favorite thing)
His brother and sister as he is always copying them

We love you Jack!!! We are so glad you are in our family. You bring such a fun spirit into our home. I can't wait to watch you grow this next year!

KIDS....

Yesterday was Bo's 10 year reunion for High School and last night we had a get together at the warehouse with some of his high school friends. As I was taking the baby sitter home I asked how the kids went to bed. I was a little nervous to hear the answer because the past few days they have been terrible at going to sleep. She said they had a little bit of a rough time. When I got home I peeked in on the boys and noticed Jack wasn't in his bed so I went in to put him in his bed. I just started laughing because all three kids were sleeping in Conrad's bed. Jackson had taken off his pants (his favorite thing, ugh) and put on Conrad's t-ball jersey with one arm through the neck. I have no idea when the kids went to bed, but I have a feeling it was a little bit harder than she put on....LOL. Well, at least they like being together.

Conrad's 4 Year Pictures

Conrad does not like getting his picture taken. At home with me he loves it but anywhere else he just gets a grumpy face on. So, this is the one and only shot we got. I think it shows his sweet personality and at least we got one. :)

We love you bud!
