Jackson's 13th Birthday

Are we really the parents of 3 teenagers?!  When did this all happen?!  Happy birthday Jackson!!!  You are such a great kid and we love watching you grown into a gentleman.  We've seen you begin to watch out for others and help where you can and even open the door for your mom.  As you've lead your deacons quorum you've been so great to do anything that has been asked and you remember to invite those to your activities.  You work hard in school.  I know you don't love being the middle child, but I love that you'll still have a great time with your younger brothers but can also have fun with Conrad and Hailey.

We've had so much fun watching you play baseball this year!  You are really getting talented at that.  Keep up the great work there and watching out for others, especially your family.  We love you more than you can know and we're so blessed to have you in our family!

Baseball 2021

This post always takes a long time.  I have to go through pictures and scan in the team pictures, so I put it off every summer and get behind on every other thing we do because I need to get this one done.  This year is no different.  Baseball for the three younger boys ended in June and it's now October 10.  But here goes nothing as I try to remember all that went on this season.

Bo and I and some others were in charge of the city baseball this year.  It took a great deal of time and I think it's a one and done with us.  We don't do well with the whole politics of sports so we won't be doing that again.  I'm a little sad about it because it was a fun season.  But, that's ok, we can have fun next year without all the added volunteer work.

I didn't take too many pictures, but we were at baseball from Monday-Saturday with one night off during the week.  It was a lot and we loved it!  But, being in charge just put everything over the edge and made things just too crazy.  Conrad played into July so we made a trip to Washington as a family.  There wasn't much to do there but we had a great time at a swim park.  It was also just so nice to get away and relax.  We really enjoyed the trip.  Here are some of the highlights, I always wish I'd taken more pictures!

Caleb played on Rookie and Minors

Brayden Played on Minors and Majors too.  Their Minors team to a very close second place.

Jackson played on Majors and Babe Ruth in Idaho Falls

Brayden and Jackson's team took first in Majors

This was Jackson's homerun!

Conrad played on the the C team at the High School, Babe Ruth team with Jack, and another travel teams with older kids (our neighbor needed another player so Conrad joined the team).

Everything we did made our baseball season run from February to mid July! Looking back, no wonder I was so burned out.  HaHa.

Track 2021

Hailey and Jackson borth ran track.  Jackson ran for the Middle School and did100m, long jump, and triple jump.  Hailey ran for the High School and did the 100m, 200m, and triple jump.  Will they do track again next year...Not sure...Once again I slacked on taking pictures.

Hailey getting first in her heat.

Driver Number 2!

If I haven't mentioned it here, I need to!  There isn't anything better than having a teenage driver.  Well, it does bring some worry, but it's also so very amazing!  I love watching these kids of ours grow to be great people. Congratulations Conrad!  I know you've worked hard to get this license as fast as you could!!

This kid couldn't be more excited to have this!  He can go fishing all on his own now!

Ever Seen a Sun Halo?!

The other day Conrad and I were driving to take his drivers test to get his license. I looked out the window and saw clouds that were rainbow colored. They were beautiful. Then, as I looked more there was a rainbow halo around the sun. I’d never seen this before. It was so amazing. I could stop looking at it.
