Halloween 2021

We only had three kids dressed up and trick-or-treat.  Hailey went to a party with her friends and I forgot to get a picture of her before she left.  He was Sully from Monster's Inc.  They had a blast running around the neighborhood and came home with a half pillowcase full of candy.  Conrad and Bo were in Atlanta at the World Series.

Vocal Recital

I love this selfie

Hailey got to have her first live performance for voice lessons since the pandemic started.  It was on her birthday.  It was so fun watching her perform again.

Then she performed with Idaho Falls Opera and performed 3 different nights.  It was a lot of watching her do some choreography.  This is the first time she's done anything like this and she's a natural.  But, she doesn't seem to believe me.

Hailey's 17!!!

I'm so glad this girl wasn't born a few months earlier!  If she was she'd be a senior and I'm not quite ready for that.  This makes it possible to have her here one more year, and I'm so grateful

We had a crazy busy week the week of her birthday, so we celebrated over a few days.  My family was in town so she opened her presents at my moms on the 16th at like ten at night.  Then, Monday we had cupcakes and Brazilian pudding instead of ice cream.  Then Tuesday, we had her favorite dinner chicken rolls.  Kind of crazy, but who doesn't want to extend their birthday, right?

Hailey is pretty much set in her ways with the things she likes.  Reading, writing, and singing all over the house.  But, I'm amazed at her abilities.  She's so smart, hardworking, loyal, and kind.  She teaches me a lot and I just wish I understood the world like she already does.  She is such an amazing human!  We are so grateful to have her as the oldest in our family!  We sure love you, Hailey!  Here's to your last year of being a child. :)

Hailey's First Rigby Homecoming

One of Hailey's childhood friends, Dawson, asked her to Homecoming.  They had a great group of kids they went with and had a bunch of fun
This hair took a LONG time was turned out so cute!

Brayden's 11th Birthday

Just four days after Grandpa's funeral we had Brayden's birthday.  He asked for a scavenger hunt and ice cream cake.  He and Caleb have really been loving them.  So, I put that together and he had a blast running around finding his gifts.  But, I think I need to make it harder next year.

This kid loves Harry Potter so he got quite a bit of Harry Potter stuff.  He was in heaven

Brayden loves life he doesn't love school, but he loves everything else.  He loves the outdoors and being prepared with a backpack full of emergency supplies.  He loves reading and stories.  Fishing and hunting are two of his favorite outside pastimes, along with camping.  He's funny, smart, a hard worker, and pretty tough.  He still always looks to the positive and watches out for ways to help others.

We sure love this kid.  How blessed are we to have him in our family!  We love his fun personality, his smile and sense of humor, and the ability he has to make friends with anyone around.  He's a great older and younger brother to look up to.  Every time we have a Come Follow Me Lesson he comes and tells me how amazing my lesson was.  That's just one example of his kindness.  We love you Bud and we love watching you grow!!!
