Bo's 41st Birthday

Happy 41st Bo! I couldn't ask for a better husband. This guy takes care of us and works hard for us too. I don't think his mind ever takes a break from coming up with creative ideas. Whether it's work-related, play-related, or just how to make our life better, he is always thinking, planning, and learning what he needs to.

He's been working hard this year trying to help the older kids, especially the boys, become more confident, great workers, and learn new skills. This is something I am so grateful for because kids need this to be successful in life. He of course makes sure there's a lot of play in there too, but it balances out my serious side.

We really do complement each other in our character traits. I love you Bo! I'm so thankful I get to go through life with you! I think our kids are really blessed to have you as their dad. I'm not sure I dare type that I can't wait to see what the next year brings, because there is so much "bringing" right now. But, with you (and our Savior) by my side, I'm confident we can do anything that comes our way.

I think Bo had a strange birthday this year as we were cleaning and moving out of the warehouse to close the next day. There's more about that in the next post. I'm going to post what he said on Facebook because he said it so well,

End of the hustle era. We complete selling the warehouse tomorrow. I turned 41 today, Kris and I bought the warehouse when I was 26. It was one of the main reasons for our business’s success and It’s been a part of our lives for a long time. Excited for the give back era to start and for the new building to be built but no new building will ever have the character that this old potato warehouse has. Going to miss her.

We have an adult!

How did this happen?! All of the cliche sayings: The days are long, but the months fly by, before you know it they'll be grown, enjoy this time because it will go faster than you know, time is a thief, the list could go on, they really are true. I was always annoyed when people at the store or other places would say those things. I was in the thick of young kids and it felt so far away.

It really did come so fast. This girl made me a mom. It's been a wild ride watching and helping her grow up. We've had many great times and also many difficulties. She's learned she can do really hard things. I'm excited to see what her future will bring.

Hailey loves to sing. She bursts out singing before realizing it but the boys (mostly Jackson) reminds her. She nannies a girl named Jamie 15-20 hours a week and loves it. Hailey has written a couple of novels and just turned one in for her Senior Project. She amazes me! She's so smart, fun to talk to, creative, strong-willed (which has its positives in the world today), kind, beautiful on the outside and in, and is getting more and more responsible every day. It's pretty awesome to watch her grow, even in the last six months!

Through all the hills and valleys Hailey, you have conquered and I couldn't be more proud of all that you've achieved! You have a great head on those shoulders of yours and know how to make the best choices. Happy 18th Birthday! We love you! Your future is as bright as your faith! You are going places! And we can't wait to see where those places are!

Halloween 2022

Halloween was a little different this year. We were living at moms because our house was being remodeled. Conrad was with friends and didn't dress up, so I don't have any pictures of him. But, here they are! I think they turned out pretty awesome! And yes, that is Jackson's real hair. #nowig

State Invitational Choir

Hailey and seven others from her Chior were chosen to sing in this state choir in Boise. They spent three days preparing and spending time together. She had a great time.

The cathedral was beautiful and the music sounded so pretty. I’m going to miss watching her perform after this year, but I’m also excited to see where life takes her. Great job Hailey! You already know this, but you and your voice are a gift!!!
