Quick Trip to Warm River

One of Bo's good friends from High School, Dustin Green, was married last weekend.  It was a great day.  We got to see friends and chat for quite awhile.  His reception was in Ashton and we had a baby sitter planned for it but she canceled at the last minute.  So, we decided to make a small trip out of it.

We loaded up the car and went to the reception.  Since the reception was outside, we just had the kids sit in the car where we could watch them and went through.  Lower Mesa Falls in Warm River was nearby so we decided to make a quick visit.

A nice man from New York offered to take our picture.

Brayden and Conrad were afraid to stand by the edge.  The wall is pretty low.  They preferred the bench and couldn't wait to leave. :)

Full Disclosure:  The entire trip wasn't a blast...This was Hailey's face the whole time. (pretty much anyway)

And We Have Another Kindergarten Graduate

Jackson is so proud to have finished Kindergarten!  Jackson was a part of the Language Immersion Program this year and he loved it.  This is the first year of the program and he learned Spanish half of the day.  He has done great and had a great teacher.  Jackson enjoys reading small words and loves adding and subtracting small numbers.  He has recently discovered he likes to draw pictures too.

We are so proud of you Jackson!  You have worked hard this year and are so happy about your choice to learn in school!  We love you!!!  Enjoy your summer!

Caleb's First Haircut

Caleb has had a few trims, but with his curly hair I didn't really want to cut it.
It was out of control though so I finally decided to buckle down and chop it.  I'm sure it's very uneven.  I'm more of a clippers type "beautician".  But, the curly hair hid all of the problems. :)

He looks so much better!

Considering how much hair is still on his head this is a pretty big pile!

 LOVE THIS BOY!!!

Look Up

I just had to add this to the blog so I can come back to it.  It hit me hard.  It's sad to watch us as "a people" become so unsocial in our world of technology.  We think we are becoming more social because we keep in touch with our old friends, but are we really living life?  Are we really paying attention to our children as much as we could be?  Are we in the moment? It has inspired me to do something.  I made a goal for myself because i waste too much time online. I am going to stay off of media sites and the internet during the unless it's a "need" and only check it once a day, in the evening.  If I can't do this I'm going to close my accounts.  I don't want my kids to be a part of this quote,  "We're surrounded by children who since they were born have watched us live like robots and think it's the norm."  I'm going to look up.

Conrad's Big Day!

Today Conrad was baptized and confirmed by Bo.  It was a great day celebrated with a lot of the family.  We are so happy with his decision to be baptized and are excited that he will be able to have the Holy Ghost in his life.

We love you Conrad!  Congratulations on your first eternal step in life.

Everyone who was there actually traveled at least three hours on Friday or early Saturday morning to be there.  It was a busy weekend for everyone and we are thankful that you could come.  Here are some pictures of him with grandparents (in no particular order, this is just how they loaded). :)
